Sep 15, 2013 - BUILDING CROSS PISTON TRAIL - IN MEMORY OF BRANDON THOMAS

Brandon’s dream was to own his own performance shop and “Cross Piston Trail” was the name he had picked out.

A HUGE THANK YOU, to everyone who came out yesterday to help build the Cross Piston Trail in Memory of Brandon Thomas and others taken by impaired driving…a heartbreaking tribute.

This is a huge honor the town of Cochrane has bestowed on Brandon, our family and victims and families of impaired driving. I am so thankful to Ali who proposed this, to the town for accepting it, and to the Province of Alberta for approving it.

Something I never dreamed would happen....something I never even imagined.

The community of Cochrane has shown how much they care about victims and families, and how much they want to be involved in raising awareness and putting an end to the loss of innocent lives and the impact on the families forever

As I watched and helped I was overwhelmed how those that were there came together for a cause that is so important.

I met some wonderful, supportive people and saw some familiar faces....Brandon was there smiling at everyone who came to help....

Thank you to all,

~Kim Thomas~
